Recent Find: Chuck Person's Eccojams Vol.1
Recently, I found myself in a rabbithole of music genre history. More specifically, the history of how Vaporwave originated, a genre that I got into mid-2016.
This project is one that changed my life during a time of confusion, loss, and turblence due to its complex simplicity.
"The complexity of things - the things within things - just seems to be endless. I mean nothing is easy, nothing is simple."
This life is a learning process.
Detroit Lake
A surreal experience, visited in what I think is the best time to visit this state.
While this trip was an escape from the South, this environment I was stuck in served as a constant reminder of my life back home. Stagnant and cold.
Every 5 miles, you see something new, from rolling hills to mountains, from streams to rivers, and urban centers to forests containing disorganized homes with random junk spread everywhere.
Government Camp
My buddy and I were not able to see Mount Hood in its glory; however, we experienced the icy conditions at Government Camp, located at the base of the mountain.
Not much time was spent here as we were not equipped with the correct gear and the rough conditions, but we left knowing that what we saw was more than enough.
